PAR PixelPoint® POS Software and Azpiral Partner on the Integration of AzpiralPRO

New Hartford, N.Y. – October 3, 2016 — ParTech, Inc. (PAR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR), announced today that they have partnered with Azpiral on the integration of the AzpiralPRO platform. This empowers PAR PixelPoint and our value-added reseller, CBE, in the Irish market. CBE’s customer, Construction Catering, operating on The MACE Group site in Clonea, Ireland, was looking for a fully integrated loyalty system on the PAR PixelPoint Point-of-Sale (POS) Software. Azpiral, being the leading provider of electronic point-of-sale (EPOS) integrated loyalty technology in Ireland, was the ideal partner for this project.
“We required a system that could integrate to our PAR PixelPoint POS Software and manage employee spend cards efficiently,” said Marc Leddy, Commercial Manager, The MACE Group. “The system needed to control allocated spend levels for each employee, provide real-time information on purchase history, report on the sales levels of products to employees at different value-added tax (VAT) levels, facilitate a temporary cashless card for site visitors, and use a purely cloud-based solution integrated to the PAR PixelPoint POS Software.”
“AzpiralPRO consists of a suite of API’s that, when integrated to the PixelPoint POS Software, could facilitate a range of services in addition to the cashless solution that was required by Construction Catering,” said Kevin Nolan, Director, Azpiral. “These services included point-based loyalty, loyalty offers, savings clubs, gift cards, customer segmentation, loyalty marketing automation, a full communication functionality, business analytics, and data management system.”
The development and testing were completed on schedule and launched in August 2016. The MACE Group staff has found the system very easy to use and has resulted in reduced waiting times for customers, better reporting functionalities, and the ability to accommodate site guests. Azpiral is currently in discussions with over 20 restaurants that already use PAR PixelPoint, with plans to integrate and install in these locations in October 2016.
